Every Year I try to make Pepernuts with the kids. I did this growing up and it really makes me get into the Christmas spirit. They are sooo good but very time consuming to make. The kids helped me a lot in the beginning but after awhile I was left to finish the batch alone.
Here Adelei started to really literally "get into it". She started working less and eating more.....
Then she enjoyed getting it all over her hands and playing with it like playdough.
Then she decided that she actually looked like a lion and made roaring sounds.....
She said to me at one point...."Mommy can we do this all day?"
