Mikkai Turns Three

Mikkai is a very special little boy...I love him to death. It is hard to explain him because he has so many expressions that are so funny. He loves to finish things, loves order, loves routine, loves his family and has a ready expression on the tip of his tongue for most everything. So at his party he had some of the cuttest expressions I have ever seen in Mikkai. When all the kids at school started to sing for him he started looking around and was absolutely sooo excited. His eyes got huge and his face was glowing. The when it came to blowing the candles he had a hard time and had to try probably at least 10 times. Everyone was silently waiting and when he finally blew all three candles they started clapping and shouting. His mouth just opened and his fists went in the air. Then he started just laughing with his mouth open and finally started clapping for himself with the rest of the kids. I tried to pick a few pictures. Without being there in person it is hard to capture but he was just adorable.

Mikkai starts blowing his candles...

Kaija starts trying to help...

Ha I did it...

Wow...everyone is clapping at me....pretty cool.

I better clap too...

The teacher "Terria" with the preschool kids...

Me with the kids...

So after the cake, I helped the kids do an art project. Something upset Mikkai so everyone is happy but look at the "happy" birthday boy...

So I Am Officially Working From Home....

Not like I didn't work before...three kids all under the age of four. Ha but on top of that I now have a job "after hours". How will I do it, not sure but with God's grace. I like it but am having a hard time keeping up with the daily demands but I am excited about this opportunity as it helps us keep our lifestyle to be able to live here in Madeira. Sob basically I am a web manager which means I update & edit a website. Check it out at www.qevon.com and let me know what you think...

It's Been a Long Time

Well, I have decided to blog again...okay so I took a break during our summer in the US. We had such a wonderful time with family and friends and was a much needed break. I just thank God for providing such a great opportunity.

Life has continued as busy as ever...kids keep growing, KJ started teaching English classes again, I started a new job-(Web manager), Adelei is almost walking and loves stairs and our house is completely under construction. These are just a few things we have been busy with.

This weekend our village is having a festival and they stay up singing, dancing and just hanging out till 2 in the morning in the church square (this is right across from our house so we are not sleeping). It is such a fun and festive time.

Tomorrow Adelei turns 11 months and my Grandma Paul turns 90!

I will write more soon but check out the web page I am working on and some recent pics of the family....

Why I don't get much done....she loves stairs!
